Waiting List Terms
Last updated: 10 August 2026
1. Who we are
LALALER is a trading name of Wig Who Wig Me Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09383145. Registered office: 75 Sevington Road, London NW4 3RU. Contact us at lalaler.hair@gmail.com.
2. What the Waiting List is
We make every piece individually, by hand, one client at a time. We can only take on a small number of new clients at once, and we would rather be honest about that than keep you waiting without explanation.
The Waiting List is how we manage that. Joining it means we hold your details and your place, and we contact you when we are able to take on new work.
3. What the £50 Waiting List Fee is — and what it is not
The Waiting List Fee is £50, including VAT.
What it pays for: reviewing the information you give us, adding you to the Waiting List, holding your place in the order it was received, and contacting you when a consultation slot becomes available.
It is a fee for that service. It is not a deposit. Specifically:
- It is not part-payment for a wig, a consultation, or anything else.
- It is not credited against the price of a consultation or a wig.
- It does not guarantee that we will offer you a consultation, or that we will accept your commission.
- It does not reserve a production slot or a completion date.
We have priced it deliberately low. It exists so that the list is made up of people who genuinely want to proceed.
4. Your right to cancel
Because you are buying a service online, you would normally have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
However, we provide the service immediately: as soon as you pay, we review your information and add you to the list. By completing your payment, you expressly ask us to begin the service straight away, and you acknowledge that once we have added you to the Waiting List the service is fully performed and you lose the right to cancel.
If you change your mind after paying but before we have added you to the list, email lalaler.hair@gmail.com and we will refund you in full.
5. When we will refund the fee anyway
We will refund your £50 in full, without being asked, if we close the Waiting List permanently without contacting you, if we cease trading, or if we made a mistake in processing your payment.
We will not refund the fee if you decide not to proceed, if you cannot be reached, or if we offer you a consultation and you decline it.
6. How long you may wait
We cannot promise a timeframe. It depends on how quickly current commissions complete, and it may be several months.
We contact clients broadly in the order they joined. You may ask to be removed from the list at any time; the fee is not refunded, but we will delete your details on request.
7. What happens next
If we are able to take you on, we will contact you by email to offer a consultation. Consultations are charged separately: virtual 30 minutes £400, virtual 60 minutes £800, in person in London 60 minutes £800, all including VAT.
Commissioned pieces start from £8,000 (short), £14,000 (medium) and £24,000 (long), including VAT. Final pricing depends on finished length and specification, and is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Collection and delivery. Completed pieces can either be collected in person from our London studio by appointment, or delivered to you. We agree which suits you before your piece is finished. Where we deliver, we arrange insured delivery, and the piece remains our responsibility until it reaches you. Delivery costs are quoted separately and are not included in the prices above.
You are under no obligation to proceed at any stage.
8. How long a piece takes
A commissioned piece takes between 3 and 12 months.
Where we already hold hair suitable for your brief, it is usually 3 to 5 months. Where hair needs to be sourced specifically for you, it is usually 6 to 12 months.
Which applies to you depends on sourcing, and on how the piece develops as we make it, so we cannot always say at the outset. We will confirm your expected timeframe in writing within 60 days of your commission starting. If anything changes materially after that, we will tell you as soon as we know.
9. Your information
We collect your name, contact details and what you tell us about your hair and what you are looking for. We use it only to manage the Waiting List and to contact you about your enquiry. We keep it for as long as you remain on the list and for 12 months afterwards. You can ask us to delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
