1. Who we are

LALALER is a trading name of Wig Who Wig Me Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 09383145, registered office 75 Sevington Road, London NW4 3RU. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us at lalaler.hair@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

When you join the waiting list: name, email, country, how you found us, and your answers about your hair and what you are looking for.

When you book a consultation: the above, plus booking details and payment confirmation. We never see or store your card details — payments are handled by Stripe and Shopify.

During a consultation and commission: your hair history and what you have tried; your measurements; photographs and video of you, your hair and your piece; notes on the direction agreed; and our correspondence with you.

When you visit lalaler.com: standard website and analytics data.

3. Information about your health

Many of our clients come to us because of hair loss, and some of that relates to a medical condition. Information about your health is special category data under UK GDPR and is protected more strictly than ordinary personal data.

We only record health information where you choose to tell us and it is relevant to making your piece. We rely on your explicit consent to hold it, we keep it to the minimum we need, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us.

You never have to tell us why you are experiencing hair loss. We may ask about scalp sensitivity or skin conditions where they affect how a piece should be made; you can decline, though it may limit what we can advise.

4. Photographs and video

Photographs and video are part of how we work. We use them to record measurements and fit, to show you progress, to record the condition of your piece at handover, and to resolve any question about what was agreed.

We will never use images that identify you for marketing, our website or social media without your separate, specific consent. That consent is asked for on its own, never bundled into our terms, and you can withdraw it at any time. Declining has no effect on your commission or how we work with you.

6. Who we share it with

Shopify (website and orders), Stripe (payments), Google (email), our accountant where records are needed for tax, our insurers and legal advisers where necessary, and HMRC and Companies House where the law requires. We do not sell your information and we never share it for anyone else’s marketing.

7. Where your information goes

We are based in the UK. Some providers, including Shopify and Stripe, process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

8. How long we keep it

• Waiting list, if you do not proceed — until you ask us to remove you, or 12 months after we last contacted you
• Consultation records — 6 years
• Commission records, measurements and correspondence — 6 years after completion
• Photographs of your piece — 6 years after completion
• Marketing images — until you withdraw consent
• Accounting records — 6 years, as tax law requires

9. Cookies

lalaler.com uses cookies necessary for the site and checkout to work, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You will be asked before any non-essential cookies are set, and you can change your mind at any time.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email lalaler.hair@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

Some information we must keep even if you ask us to delete it — accounting records, and anything needed for a legal claim. We will tell you if that applies and explain why.

We will post any changes here with an updated date, and tell you directly if they are significant.
